 Terry founded The Craftsmen Group in 2007 after many successful years as a carpenter, project manager and partner at a long-standing North Shore general contractor. Terry's professional experience before carpentry is vast and surprising. His fraternity involvement while at Purdue University earned him national recognition as a young leader to watch. His professional life started with Accenture back when it was Arthur Andersen consulting. Terry left the corporate world in favor of entrepreneurship when he joined other Purdue Alumni in starting the Dodson Group. Dodson brokered services for business environments. He owned his own financial planning firm for a dozen years, was in sales for American Hotel Register and even spent some time on staff at Willow Creek Community Church. Along the way Terry earned a masters degree in counseling psychotherapy, owned a deck building business and became a father. Today he lives in Evanston with his wife and daughter. If you can't find him in the office, on a job site, or at home, he's probably hiking. |
